Development support of NOAA/NOA OceanReports
CSS’s Team helped create the OceanReports web-based tool that assists in the analysis of coastal and marine resources for commerce, development, and conservation.
OceanReports is a publicly available tool which provides data and analysis tools of coastal and marine areas, to assist decisions in ocean commerce, energy development, and environmental resource use and conservation.
CSS supported this joint endeavor between NOAA’s Office of Coastal Management, NCCOS, and other partners by preparing, validating, and processing more than 100 data sets to produce a smart web application. This project nominated for the NOAA Administrator’s Award. OceanReports analyzes and visualizes data within customer-determined ocean neighborhoods (polygons) and identifies ocean areas that could support growth of the Blue Economy. Users can get detailed information for a neighborhood on habitats and species, industries in the area, potential hazards (such as undersea cables or shipwrecks), economics of ocean commerce, and oceanographic and physical information.

Industrial Hygiene Services for the Army Public Health Command (APHC)
CSS served as the prime contractor performing facility-wide industrial hygiene (IH) surveys and assessments at 16 CONUS and 8 OCONUS Army installations for FY2016. We scheduled and executed surveys using teams of IH professionals for large-scale (NTE 200 shops surveys, 400 ventilation evaluations, 100 sound level measurements, and 100 noise dosimetry measurements per Army installation)…
